We offer you one-day and multi-day Hron river rafting trips. It is a comprehensive service package for water sportsmen which includes the equipment (boats, paddels and accessories), the transport of boats and passengers, and safe parking. One-day river rafting trips on the Hron river
These are organized on the 20 km long route Nemecká – Šalková from the early spring to the late autumn on a daily basis. The rafting trip starts in Nemecká between 8:30 to 11:00 am and ends after 5 – 7 hours of boating in Šalková (Banská Bystrica town district). You will paddle through the most attractive 20 km section of the Hron river. After the trip, you will be driven back to Nemecká by a minivan.

Multi-day wandering Hron river rafting trips
A multi-day rafting trip on the Hron river is a classic boating trip connected with camping. Before the trip, every holiday-maker will get a 50-liter barrel for dry stuff in which they will, among other things, also pack everything what is necessary for the camping. The route of the trip and the camping place is chosen by you. We will inform you about the current possibilities before the rafting trip. After the trip, you will be picked up by a minivan and driven back to Nemecká (this is included in the price).

The boating trip on the Hron is an all-day sporting activity in the open so you should count on a certain energy expenditure in the natural environment. The boating trip always starts at the Nemecka roadside restaurant where we meet at the agreed time. The actual boating trip starts after instructions have been given and preparations made. You will give us a call on the designated place so that the paddlers‘ taxi could wait for you in the boating trip destination. Over there, you will get into the van and return back to Nemecka.
Level of difficulty and navigability of the Hron
Boating trips on the Hron are suitable for everyone, even for beginners and families with children. The boats used by us are very stabile and easily navigable. It is our requirement that every holiday-maker uses a life jacket. The boating trip on the Hron is a sporting activity on the flowing water. Apart from a sporting spirit needed for this boating trip, you needn’t attain to any sport performance category, even children can manage the trip with their physical abilities.
Safe parking during the boating trips on the Hron
Our holiday-makers are provided with free parking in front of and behind the roadside restaurant. The parking lot is monitored by camera systems. A safe lock-up is available to bikers and cyclists; it is surveilled by cameras, too.
Boats and equipment
2- to 3-seated inflatable Yukon canoes, 5- to 7-seated HOBIT rafting boats and classic plastic rafting canoes are used for the Hron river rafting. You will get paddles, life jackets, boat barrels and other necessary stuff for each boat.
